Sell gift cards
List the gift cards you are never going to spend, and talk to the person who will.
A gift card for a shop you do not use is worth close to nothing to you and close to face value to somebody who already shops there. That gap is the whole reason this category exists, and it is the simplest kind of exchange on the site: no transfer partners, no award space, no programme rules to read.
It is also the category where being a marketplace rather than a broker matters most. Card resale sites pay a fraction of face value because they are buying to resell. Here you set your own price and keep all of it.

Before you agree anything
State the balance and how you will prove it
A buyer's first question is always whether the balance is really there. Say how you will show it — a screenshot of the balance page, or the retailer's own balance checker.
Say whether it is digital or physical
A code can be sent in seconds; a plastic card has to be posted, and somebody has to pay for that. Settle it before agreeing a price.
Check for an expiry and any restrictions
Some cards expire, some are store-only, some cannot be used on sale items. Anything that limits what the card can buy belongs in the listing, not in the conversation afterwards.
Worth knowing
Once a digital code has been shared it cannot be unshared. Agree the order of events in the thread before either side sends anything, and never share a code with somebody who will not put the terms in writing.
Questions, answered
What should I ask for a gift card?
Below face value, because the buyer is giving up money that spends anywhere for credit that spends in one place. The discount is the price of that restriction, not a judgement of the card. How far below depends on how tightly it is locked: a chain with hundreds of locations and a wide catalogue trades close to face, while a single shop, a narrow range or a card that cannot be used on sale items trades further from it.
How do I prove the balance is real?
Most retailers publish a balance checker. Screenshot it, or walk the buyer through checking it themselves. Anything you can show before money moves makes the exchange easier for both of you.
Does BuySellPoints handle the payment?
No. We are not a payment processor or an escrow service. Members agree terms with each other and settle between themselves, which is why the conversation stays on the platform as a record of what was agreed.
What if the buyer says the card is empty?
That is why the sequence matters. Agree in the thread how the balance will be verified and when payment happens, before anything is sent. If somebody behaves badly, report them — a moderator reads every report.
