What this service is

BuySellPoints is an introduction service. Members publish listings describing loyalty points, certificates, or perks they hold, and other members can contact them privately. That is the whole of what we do.

We are not party to any transaction. We do not take payment, hold funds, provide escrow, verify that anyone owns what they list, transfer points, or guarantee that an exchange completes. Everything after the introduction happens directly between the two members, at their own risk.

Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
• You must confirm your email address before messaging, listing, or posting.
• One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account.

Loyalty programme rules are not ours

Airline, hotel, and card programmes set their own terms, and many restrict or prohibit transferring, selling, or bartering points and awards. Some charge fees; some can confiscate balances or close accounts. Those terms are between you and the programme. Check them before agreeing to anything. We do not interpret them for you and we are not responsible if a programme acts against your account.

Listings

• List only what you actually hold and are able to provide.
• State quantity, expiry, restrictions, and your requested terms accurately.
• Listings are published when you submit them. Keep them current, and pause or remove one that is no longer available.
• We may remove a listing, at any time, if it is misleading, prohibited, or reported.

Conduct

Do not use BuySellPoints to:

• Defraud another member, or misrepresent what you are offering
• Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone
• Solicit passwords, one-time codes, or account logins from another member
• Trade anything obtained fraudulently, or anything illegal to transfer
• Scrape, automate, or overload the service
• Post content you do not have the right to post

Never share passwords, one-time codes, or full payment details in a message. No legitimate exchange requires them, and we will never ask for them.

Ratings and community posts

You can rate a member you have corresponded with. Ratings and community posts must be honest and your own experience. Content you post publicly stays visible to anyone browsing. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Reports, suspension, and termination

You can report a listing, a member, or a conversation. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or presents a risk to other members. You can close your account at any time from your account settings; records required for safety or law are retained as described in the Privacy Notice.

Disputes between members

Because we are not part of your transaction, we cannot reverse it, recover points, or compel anyone to perform. A dispute over an exchange is between the two members. We will act on reports of abuse or fraud on the platform, but that is a safety measure, not a remedy for your loss.

No warranty, and limits

The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that members are who they say they are, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from an exchange between members.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to use the service means you accept them.
